The couple were at Galveston County, Texas in 1880 and at Hamilton County, Ohio in 1900. Louis was a retail merchant and clothing dealer.
Pauline Eldridge was born in Prussia and she married Abraham Michael Lisso in 1855 in Louisiana. They were at Natchitoches in Louisiana for the 1860 census with their son Edward and children from his earlier marriage. Following his death Pauline petitioned a Judge at New Orleans, Louisiana in October 1867 that she as the natural tutrix of her minor children Edward, Napthalia and Idelle Lisso and that an under tutor be appointed being Lewis (sic) Eldridge, a resident of New Orleans.
Phillip Eldridge was born in Prussia and migrated to the USA where he is shown applying to marry Betty Cohen in a marriage application made in Hamilton County, Ohio in Sep 1856. Betty was born in Hanover. Their first four children were born in Louisiana with the remainder in Texas. Phillip was a wholesale grocer and merchant.
